Food Scene
We love the Workshop, it has a great atmosphere (it's a pub/bar/cafe/restaurant), you can get a giant super tasty pizza or order several Middle Eastern dishes (hummus, breads, olives, salads, fish etc). You can spend hours here!

So simple and so good! A great place to stop off for an authentic pizza and a drink, totally affordable too and has a good ethos supporting the homeless and disadvantaged.

Parks & Nature
This is just down the road from us but we never tire of this place. A lovely lake to walk around and have tea and cake after, or pick one of the trails and head off into the woods and fields around. A total joy :)

Arts & Culture
Not only is the building a work of art (Norman Foster designed it) but the building is full of really amazing sculptures and artifacts from different periods and cultures, you can spend hours here. There is a permanent exhibition on (including a Degas, Francis Bacon) and also regular new exhibitions. A gorgeous cafe is at the back with an opportunity to sit and soak in the atmosphere. It's a quiet and calm sort of place.
