Sightseeing

Gympie Terrace has it all. You can hire kayaks, jet skis, stand up paddleboards and boats to explore the Noosa River on. Hire a pontoon boat and check out the houses on the canals! If you’re not too keen on exercise you can get good coffee at all of the coffee shops. There are a variety of restaurants available with Flux a must for beer lovers (and Tapas). For a casual, cheap eat try Bordertown. For something more up market, the food at Little Humid is very good.

Noosa’s big drawcard! If you’re here during peak season, it’s best to get to Hasting’s street early to secure a park (or better, take the bus or the Ferry). If there is a traffic jam on Noosa Parade, turn off and park in one of the side streets and walk. Hastings Street offers food, drinks, coffee, boutique stores, beach and nature. Noosa Main beach is patrolled year round and is quite safe (in between the flags). The Noosa Surf Club offers great views over ‘First Point’ from it’s balcony. If you walk towards the Noosa National Park there are several little coves to explore. Watch out for Koala’s whales, turtles and dolphins! You can also walk to the river mouth (in the opposite direction)

Everything Else

A variety of restaurants (with fabulous views!) and boutique shops. It’s a nice place for breakfast and coffee in the morning or to cool down with a drink in the afternoon. The Noosa Ferry Cruise Company run ferries from the Noosa Marina along Gympie Terrace and up to Hasting’s Street. A small market (held every Sunday) with stall owners selling art, craft and local produce. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants choose from and the setting is quite beautiful.

Food Scene

A great place to have breakfast or stock up on local produce. Would be best to arrive early as it gets quite busy and parking can be a hassle.

Entertainment & Activities

A small enclosed water splash park with picnic tables. A great place to come if you have small kids (older kids might find it boring as it's quite small but there is a skate park right next to it and the river with a jetty to go fishing is right there too). Get a coffee from the Marina or bring a picnic lunch and relax while the kids enjoy the water.
