Fantastic and sprawling mountain. Highly recommend going over to the Nevada side of the hill if the Cali side gets packed. Nevada side is less crowded, has a great local energy, and some of the best powder tree skiing in Lake Tahoe!

Much easier to get to than the Safeway in Heavenly village, and usually less busy. Starbucks is inside. Hit the Deli on a friday night after 7pm and they'll give you a bucket of fried chicken for $5.
