Nelson's original microbrewery, and first in BC east of the Okanagan, resides in the historic building constructed in 1987 for the Nelson Ice Company. This brewery wins awards every year, if you're only going to one microbrewery, this is the one. Food options are limited to light bar snacks.

A great alternative to the more popular pulpit rock hike. Fairly steep up to the viewpoint. Definitely worth it for the Kootenay River and Nelson views! (30-60 minutes)

Awesome spot for medium difficulty mountain biking. Flowly trails with big berms, optional jumps all with a a nice up track. Check out the trails on the trailforks app for more information

With over a kilometre of sandy beaches and four campgrounds, Kokanee Creek Park has provincial significance and is the number one choice for tourists’ coming to the West Kootenays. There is always lots to do with an adventure playground, visitor centre, spawning channel, boat launch, group camp site, viewing platform, hiking trails, and a marina nearby.

For the more adventurous you can take the rail trail all the way from the AirBnb too this cute little lake tucked away in the forest. In the winter this lake freezes over and hosts multiple shinny games and ice fishing!

Food scene
One of my favourite places for cocktails and good Mexican food. Awesome patio to bask in the sun! A little on the pricier side. If you want cheap good food with a less boujee vibe go to el taco down the street!
