Ile d'Orleans is only about a 15 minute drive from downtown Quebec City. The island has lots of history and some of the oldest (private) homes on the continent. There are lots of agricultural activities including u-pics for all sorts of fruit and wine tasting.

A must and adjacent to the Old Town. This 240 acre federal parc is steeped in Canadian history. I would encourage visitors to spend time here.
