Recently voted one of the UK's best seaside resorts. Visit the castle (which is inhabited by the Armstrong family) , the wonderful sandy beach, and gorgeous tea room.

What used to be the old Alnwick Railway station but now a world famous second hand book shop. A great space to sit and read and to have a coffee, or lunch in the waiting room cafe. Excellent space that is well worth a visit.

Lived in by the Duke of Northumberland and used in two Harry Potter movies, lots of activities for families or enjoy the visit in this splendid castle, open Easter to end of October. Couple this with a visit to Alnwick Gardens (March to January) and save on the ticket price.

Enjoy the best fish and chips around at Neptune in Seahouses too!
