Perfect trip for a sunny day so that you can see the Rocky Mountains and all of Calgary. There is a restaurant at the top that rotates and reservations for dinner are recommended. There is also a glass floor on the viewing level that looks straight down.

Banff is world famous for Rocky Mountain scenery and skiing, but it is very expensive. Bring your own food and drinks, and stay for a day. Lots of picnic areas and hiking trails. Two hour drive from my home.
