Summerville has a huge sandy beach, kids can play there for hours, and it's nearby the Quarterdeck Resort & Restaurant; also nearby is the Seaside Seafoods Restaurant in Hunts Point, which is famous for their world's best clams. The estimated time to get to the beach from our Airbnb is 22 minutes.

Only 18 minutes away from our Airbnb this beach is known for its white sand. Kids can play here for hours, or take a long walk on the beach and climb up a huge rock. It has a porta potty and a change room for your convenience as well.

To me Carters Beach in Port Mouton is an idyllic one, where you actually find 3 beaches in one. All three have deep, white sand, and for children it's a perfect playground if you bring your shovels and pails. One drawback is that there are no change rooms, and parking can be an issue. However, there is a porta potty for your convenience. From our Airbnb the beach is 25 km away, and can be reached in 19 minutes.

All three have deep, white sand, and for children it's a perfect playground if you bring your shovels and pails. One drawback is that there are no change rooms, and parking can be an issue. This park is about a 30 minute drive from our premises. If you like to hike then this is the place for you. Choose between a 9 km hike over wooden paths, rocks, and through a forest, or take the 2.6 km hike directly to the beach. Don't forget your binoculars; you may see the seals in the water or sunbathing on the rocks, or you may spot some black bears.

Kejimkujik National Park Seaside

Choose between a 9 km hike over wooden paths, rocks, and through a forest, or take the 2.6 km hike directly to the beach. Don't forget your binoculars; you may see the seals in the water or sunbathing on the rocks, or you may spot some black bears.
Another great place to hike and just minutes away from the Airbnb is Pine Grove Park. There is lots of parking available and if you feel like swimming after your hike, you can do that, too. There is an easy access to the Mersey river. Don't forget your towel ;)

This park is situated 63 km inland from our Airbnb, which will take you about 46 minutes to get there. If you're an avid camper you would wanna stay there. If not, stay with us and get a day pass to go hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, and much more. The park is absolutely beautiful and a 'must' to visit!
