The War Museum is a favourite, expect a longer day filled with Western history and tanks. Definitely recommend!

The architecture itself is a glorious opportunity for some travel photos, with Parliament Hill in the background. This museum is across the Ottawa River from Parliament, it is on the Quebec side so you will notice the street signs and road change, and so does the language (parles-tu français?)!
