Museum
A great museum and a nice walk from our house, just up the river. Great views from the terraces and right on the entrance to the High Line and lots of shopping and restaurants in the Meat Packing District. Helpful if you like contemporary art!

Neighborhoods
Landmarked neighborhood which means less construction, small houses and a lot less noise. The West Village is much more of a residential area with fewer bars and restaurants than the East Village. Quality, not quantity and less chaotic. Great place to visit and live!
