At just over a thousand acres, this natural oasis—Florida’s largest urban park—is a haven for mountain bikers, paddlers, anglers, swimmers and for families out to enjoy a picnic along scenic Biscayne Bay. Feel free to release yourself from the stress of the city at one of the picnic areas or unwind at the end of a fishing pole.
This is great family place where you can rent bikes, kayaking, BBQ, have fun at the beach, picnic, etc. One of nicest beaches in a city of nice beaches is right here at Oleta River State Park

Miami Shores Golf Club is a traditional Red Lawrence parkland design that features understated bunkering along a gently rolling terrain that is home to a vast array of majestic oaks, sub-tropical wildlife and vegetation. Water comes into play on 8 holes, including many that necessitate drives over the wide Biscayne Canal that traverses the property, and 69 sand bunkers dot the layout. Manatee sightings in this canal are not unusual.
"It was my first time playing this course. I love the layout. The fairways and the bunkers were very nice. The greens are small and very fast. You must land your ball on the front of the green because it will release at least 5 to 10 feet. I will definitely be playing this course again. It is a must play."
