This is an amazing little place between Laramie and Cheyenne. Hike the turtle rock loop trail (45 minutes) or walk up the box canyon and scramble on rocks to catch an amazing view. It is breathtaking!

This hike takes about 2-4 hours depending on your stamina. At 12,014 feet it gives a full panorama of the Snowy Range. Be sure to get down off the peak before the afternoon thunderstorms.
