The Moffat Beach Brewing Company - award winning craft beers, Oatmeal Stout and Summer Ale are two of Mark’s favourites. Dead Beat Boyfriend is a local winner as well .
Great live music from Thursday evenings through the weekend.
Sunnys next door has a wonderful dinner menu.
And Sugar Mamas our newest for ice cream, waffles and coffee.
Ours Cafe, great vegan food and groceries- always popular.
If you have time, a trip to The Boat Shed at Cotton Tree for superb meals and location, please book, even for lunch.
Rice Boi on Mooloolaba Wharf my favourite for lunch.

Well worth a stroll for their coffee - we buy our beans from here. The guys are great, dog friendly too.

Our Australia Zoo Tips :)
When you arrive - just to the left of the Irwin Family statue - look our for the zoo handlers with LIVE animals which you are allowed to pat and take your photos with - snakes, eagle, lizard etc. The handlers are wonderfully patient and will let you take selfies and individual photos with Ruby and best of all - no fees :)
With the Crocodile show - when we are waiting for the show to begin, that's when we have our lunch - a great time to rest, eat and helps pass the time. Watch you don't sit on the side with the sun in your eyes, sit closer to the end where the feeding platform is.
Australia Zoo is SO spread out now, take the train either way to or back from the Safari area.
Feeding the Kangaroos is an easy spot to take more selfies.
At the end of the Croc stadium there is a fun feeding Petting zone, another cute spot for great pics of Ruby petting the goats, piggies etc. Go here before the show starts as it is very crowded after the show.
Take plenty of water and snacks, sun hats - have a fun day xx
