This is the main street of the old town and my suggestion is to go there late afternoon or evening to avoid the crowds and the heat during the main season. The old town is the heart of Dubrovnik and full of monuments and great bars.

During the main season it is much easier to go to the old town by bus to avoid expensive parking charges or to rent a scooter so you can easily avoid high traffic and visit a lot beautiful places.
