Ideal for lunch. The décor is a bit ‘90s and un-inspiring but the food is great. A must try is the Paccheri (or trofie) alla trabaccolara. In origin it was a pasta dish made by fishermen with a sauce of tomatoes and small fish left unsold. It is heavenly.

Pizza & Gelato - Pistoia and surroundings

This next section is not easy to write because everyone has a different opinion where to get the best pizza or gelato. Some people like the pizza crust thick and chewy (Naples' style) others will only eat it thin and crunchy, some people will happily add pineapple as a topping to the shock of the more traditionalists; therefore feel free to discard as needed. That said, there is no ambiguity with regards to the pastries from the F.lli Porcaro. They are excellent.
