The largest beach on Gozo (Ghawdex) with its stunning red sands. Perfect for safe swimming, sunbathing, a marvellous finishing point from a hike along Wied L-Ghejun (The Ramla Valley), taking in Dreams of Horses Horse & Animal Sanctuary along the way.
Historic Point - This beach is where Napoleon landed when he invaded the Maltese islands - there is a memorial within the beach.
Eco-point - Nesting sight for sea-turtles , which are ecological protected as an endangered species. Local agencies and volunteers work to keep the area safe
and protected while the eggs are incubated in early Summer.
