People come from all over Melbourne to Breakfast or Lunch at Dench. Their bread , cakes and pastries are delicious. Dench is pricey but worth the spend. Long waits for tables Saturday and Sunday mornings from about 10am until 1pm.

Fantastic , consistently good food, great booze list , very warm and welcoming - their special brisket sandwich was to die for...... It was a special unfortunately. The Empress have Smokey BBQ Sundays, Trivia on Wednesdays , it's a great pub to get involved in the local Nth Fitzroy community.

The Ed gardens has everything you could need , great children's playgrounds , great for exercising or just chilling out in the sunshine. 5pm is dog walking hour - if your missing you pet go down to the gardens for doggie time
