When you have a car with you, you HAVE to try our local brewery. Beer is brewed right on site and their menu is absolutely killer. Try their soup of the day and the pulled pork nachos - they pickle their own jalepenos, yum.

If you're traveling with the kids (or not, I'm not here to judge) go over to Dockside which is their lobby restaurant and sit at the ice cream bar. You have to get the Gooey of the Month - its the most ginormous ice cream sunday you've ever seen. Trust us, you want to share with someone else or order the "personal" size.

A great hike right out the door of Tubbs Hill Hideaway. Walk over to 10th street and then toward the lake and you'll find the back trail head for the hike. Once you hike the hill, you'll pop out at the other side which is right in Mcuen park. You can easily walk back to Tubbs Hill Hideaway by walking in the park towards the big parking lot by the library.
