Opened in 1924, Joe Josts is one of the oldest continuously run taverns west of the Mississippi. It boasts the coldest beer in town, and the famous “Joes Special” sandwich. With it’s great pickled eggs and world famous shirts, it’s a Long Beach staple that you should check out. Although it is a tavern/dive bar, kids are very welcomed (and they can even get a box of Cracker Jacks and pint of delicious root beer).
