Attention all Oyster lovers! Located approximately 25 minutes outside of the center of Rocky Point on the road to Caborca are the freshest oysters you will find! One of the oyster farms has a small restaurant serving up tasty oysters taken right from the sea to your table.
To fully grasp the phenomenal sunset that Rocky Point has to offer jump aboard the Señorita Rita Cruise. This two-hour long cruise offers an open bar serving a selection of cocktails and draft beer with the option of sandwiches, chips, and other snacks.
Departing from the marina Señorita Rita sails two times a day; at 3 pm and 5.45 pm. The dolphins usually make an appearance during sailing times so make sure you bring your camera!

Anyone for a round of golf by the sea? There are 3 courses in Rocky Point: The Links at Las Palomas, The Club at Laguna del Mar, and the Peninsula de Cortes at the Mayan Palace.The closest course to Las Palmas is The Links at Las Palomas which is a 5 minute drive away. This is an 18-hole, par 72 link-style golf course.
Located 25 miles outside of town is the Peninsula de Cortes golf course located at the Mayan Palace resort. This Jack Nicklaus design course is situated on a 2 mile peninsula with a tidal estuary on one side, and the Sea of Cortes on the other side.
Fifteen minutes from Las Palmas is The Club at Laguna Del Mar course. This course, also designed by Jack Nicklaus is surrounded by salt water lagoons and views of the Sea of Cortes, and the Cerro Prieto Mountain.

LISTEN TO THE BEST MEXICAN JAZZ BAND IN PUERTO PEÑASCO
Immerse yourself in the colorful cultural music of Mexico by seeking out the Mexican jazz band Agua De Coco. The band performs around many of Rocky Points hot spots throughout the week and offers a great night of entertainment.
This 5-member jazz band is very popular within the region and has gained a loyal following throughout the years. You will often see them advertised around town or you can find Agua De Coco’s Facebook page for more details on where they are next performing.

Take peso with you, if you can request the currency there is many currency exchange store at PP. But , check your phone first to make sure you are getting the correct exchange. If the waiter ask you " do you want me to run your credit card in dollars or peso ? Said PESO, this way your CC company will do the exchange

There is a lot to do and see. So make your plans base on the time you have to enjoy and rest. Before passing the border go to bathroom, get your snack , respect the speed limit in Sonoyta and the Alto (stop) signs.

If you have and like then, bring your beach shoes, pack light , many if not all condo have a laundry area that you can use if you need to wash something, bring a light jacket if your not coming in the summer as night can be chili for some .
