This wonderful longstanding pub is a neighborhood institution with a solid selection of beer (and other drinks) and amazingly good pub food. I love the tuna melt and blackened salmon sandwiches, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Don't let the humble storefront fool you. The food here is really good (Jamaican + American Southern style?? Yes!) and it's close by for some of the best takeout around. I had the slow cooked curry chicken and it was honestly one of the best meals I've had in a while. And the mac n' cheese....yum!
