While not located in Centro, the food is well worth the drive. While the name “black onion” might not attract you, this is one of our favorite appetizers of any restaurant.

For a special night, you simply can’t beat K'u’uk. Housed in an old colonial mansion off of the Paseo de Montejo, the tasting menu is filled with creative and gorgeous dishes made of local ingredients. If Michelin awarded stars to restaurants in México, this one would be a contender.

Simply put, Oliva is the best Italian restaurant and is on our top 5 list of restaurants overall in Mérida. The fresh pasta is fantastic and the burrata appetizer is our favorite.

The guiding principle behind Agua de Mar is to source all of the ingredients fresh from local organic producers. Don't miss the carmeron roca; it is an amazing dish. The service is among the best in Mérida. Reservations are necessary.

If we are going to recommend a hotel restaurant, then it must be good. First class cocktails, excellent service, and amazing food by Chef Maycoll Calderón. The rooftop patio is lovely. It is also a dog friendly restaurant!

Our Sunday tradition is to walk to SOCO and pick up pastries for our family and employees. To say we love this place would be an understatement! Try the crème brûlée tarts, they're amazing.
