Things to Do in Providence
Art + History
The RISD Museum is a great place to spend a few hours or to wander around all day. There are tons of interesting exhibits to explore. My personal favorite is the Charles Pendelton House (which is built directly into the museum).
Admission is free on Sundays; the rest of the week is $15 for adults & free for youth (>18).
Fun fact - it's the 20th largest art museum in the United States.

AS220 is a non-profit community arts center that maintains four dozen artist live/work studios, around a dozen individual work studios, six rotating exhibition spaces, a main stage, a black box theater, a dance studio, a print shop, a community darkroom, a digital media lab, a fabrication lab, an organization-run bar and restaurant, a youth recording studio, and a youth program.
You can count on some sort of exhibit or performance that is going on when visiting Providence.

The Rhode Island Historic Society has a variety of programs and tours. One of my favorites is a walking tour on Benefit Street that shares stories from one of the most historic streets in New England.

The Avenue Concept is a local non-profit focused on creating public art encounters by incorporating art more thoroughly into the urban environment and providing opportunities to engage and interact with it. They've done over 170 art installations.

The Arcade Providence was built in 1828 and it is the oldest indoor mall in the United States. It is now home to New Harvest coffee & cocktails, Rogue Island restaurant, vintage shops and salons.

India Point Park
201 India St1.5 miles straight down from the Airbnb (opposite direction of downtown on Allens Ave which turns into Narragansett Blvd), this is a beautiful spot to walk or have a picnic. It's also a few blocks away from some cute shops and restaurants in Pawtuxet Village.
