These are some amazing places to go, many of them I visit more than a few times a year. They are a bit trendy and can be busy.
If you ask people in Denver, they should have heard of these.

The best concert venue. In the mornings there are many people running the stairs as a workout and on certain Sundays you can attend church.

Very busy in the summer, well worth the drive. The walk around the park can take a few hours and water is limited so bring what you need if it will be a hot day.

Rental Car is Recommended
Public transportation is available, but I would definitely recommend a rental car if you plan on exploring! Lyft and Uber are also readily available and can get you into downtown in less than 15 minutes.

Bringing the family?
Denver is a very very family friendly town. Even some of our nicest restaurants allow shorts, sandals, etc. Families are everywhere and it is not uncommon especially in Boulder for restaurants to be "pet friendly". I have three boys of my own, all under 11 so if you have any questions about what places are kid friendly feel free to ask!

Denver is very, very pet friendly. Do not be surprised if stores have water outside and treats for dogs. People here love taking their furry friends everywhere.

Denver Weather
We have a saying here, "If you don't like the weather just wait 20 minutes." Weather in Denver can shift at a moments notice. We do get over 300 days of sun per year but it may still be chilly. Don't be fooled, people (including my friends) get sunburned here on a semi-cloudy day. Try to bring a jacket of some sort if you are out for the night, temps can drop quick in winter and part of spring.

Restaurants are busy
Call ahead or use OpenTable to book well before you arrive. If you are here for a quick stay it may be hard to make last minute reservations. Places are very busy with long waits.

Denver people are friendly
Yes there are always exceptions to the rule but overall people here are nice. They are willing to help out and will smile at you just because they are in a good mood. Denver is a booming town, most people did not grow up here but they are happy to have found it.
