They have a lovely selection of cakes and an delicious cream tea with a fabulous view overlooking the estuary.
Occasionally in the evenings during the summertime with really nice quality food.

This is an amazing place to dine out for lunch or a celebratory meal like a birthday or an anniversary. The food is stunning - not only are you eating with your eyes (it’s beautifully presented), the aromas and explosions of flavour are mind blowing - as good as a Michelin star restaurant.
Located in the next town (Kingsbridge) it’s about 6 miles from Salcombe.

Located in the next town (Kingsbridge) it’s about 6 miles from Salcombe.
Lovely food freshly cooked. Great pizzas and good portions…I can highly recommend the fajitas!

Lobster Pod Bistro
It’s a bit of a drive to get to, but the fish and chips are amazing. The view of Startbay (you can see from Dartmouth past Blackpool Sands and all along Slapton Sands and around to Start Point Lighthouse). A perfect way to end an evening is to sit on the beach with your fish and chips and hopefully watch the moon rise above the horizon as the sun sets behind you)
