Neighbourhoods
Sheringham is a fabulous coastal town. With great beaches stretching to the East and West of the town itself and long promenades and beach huts. It lies on the Norfolk Coastal path between Weybourne and Sheringham. Fabulous location for holidays on the North Norfolk Coast, an area which has so much to offer the holiday maker. Sheringham itself has a small theatre, a railway station (trains running to Norwich) and the lovely North Norfolk Poppy Line, which has steam trains running to Weybourne and Holt. The town consists mainly of a high street with some excellent independent shops, including a fish monger, several butchers, gift shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. Nearby there is also a Tesco supermarket. Of course, it also boasts excellent fish and chip shops (we recommend Dave's on Co-operative St). On the promenade, the beach is manned by a life guard station during the summer months and paddle boards can be hired. You can also explore the Common which is an SSI and the lovely heathland and woodland of Pretty Corner. There is also the National Trust owned Sheringham Park, which has fabulous rhododendrons flowering in the spring.

Visit the Queen's Norfolk holiday home where the owner of Woodforde's Cottage was Head Gardener for many years. Obviously has beautiful gardens, but the house is also very interesting. Fabulous play area for children and lovely shop and restaurant.
