West Asheville has a very local feel. Many young industry workers & professionals live here. We all love visiting downtown Asheville, but like to call West Asheville home, because it has a more local feel vs touristy feel. It is extremely walkable, with many great coffee shops, restaurants, breweries & eclectic shops! But at the same time, more quiet than downtown.

Sightseeing
Awesome Beer! Set right along the French Broad River with great outdoor seating, and almost always a food truck. I recommend the classic Fat Tire Amber Ale, but there are so many good beers to choose from.

Funky little place with a bar, vintage shop(clothes, etc.) & usually has live bands each night. Oh, and you can get married here, that's right, they have a wedding chapel. Welcome to AshVegas!

Really impressive, large brewery with an outdoor amphitheater & indoor stage for music acts. Make sure to check out the self-guided museum and brewery tour upstairs. Good food too!
