An old fashioned seaside village with a few delis and places to eat. 'The Bell' a traditional pub with good food, one of my favourites.
Plus a harbour where you can get a little boat across to Southwold. So picturesque.

I love Southwold... lots of little quintessential independent shops all set back from a incredibly pretty seafront with a sunset to die for.
'The Swan Hotel' has a very good upmarket restaurant and cosy bar.

Also having the famous seashell sculpture on the beach, created by Maggi Hambling... well known arist.
Aldeburgh has a unique feature for being a great place for walking, cycling and birdwatching with the location being surrounded by heathland, marshland and the shingle beach.
