Things to See

A short hike from Weinheim.... The Windeck was built after 1100 as a protective castle for the Lorsch monastery and was destroyed in the 17th century. The castle ruins have been owned by the town of Weinheim since 1978. An architectural rarity is the spiral staircase embedded in the wall of the keep.
