Neighborhoods
Mission District is the hipster and art focused area. It doesn't look beautiful at first sight but it's home to some of our most beautiful mural art and trendy restaurants. You could walk there, or it's a short uber ride away. Grab a picnic blanket and hang out for the day, it's always sunnier there. Or take a stroll to Castro, the world famous gayborhood nearby. You could also walk around Valencia St. and visit local shops and restaurants.

Embarcadero is a modern beautiful "boardwalk" along the entire bay. It's many miles long and just a short walk from our Airbnb. Start near Oracle park and walk 4 miles all the way to Fort Mason and the Marina. Along the way you'll find the Ferry Building (2 miles) and the famous tourist destination Pier 39 (3 miles).

Embarcadero
Embarcadero is a modern beautiful "boardwalk" along the entire bay. It's many miles long and just a short walk from our Airbnb. Start near Oracle park and walk 4 miles all the way to Fort Mason and the Marina. Along the way you'll find the Ferry Building (2 miles) and the famous tourist destination Pier 39 (3 miles).
The newest part of San Francisco with modern architecture including the incredible Chase Center, home of our local basketball team: the Warriors. If you're lucky you can catch a big concert at the Chase Center or walk around and find many trendy restaurants, nice parks, tech companies, and mini golf.

Caltrain to Silicon Valley
The caltrain will get you up and down the peninsula to San Jose. It's inexpensive and fast. There's no wifi on board but it's best to bring a snack with you for the ride.

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is the local subway that will get you around the city, to Oakland, and beyond. You can look up the schedule on google maps.
