Beach

One of the best beaches on Mahé (Petité Anse inside the four seasons hotel) - the beach is open to the public, just park at the entrance

In our opinion the most beautiful beach on Mahé. During the calm season (November-April), you can swim there as the water is really calm. During the south-west monsoon there are huge waves, please always take care of the currents! There is a super nice Beach Bar which is worth a visit (orders can take a little bit longer - but you have all time of the world :))

The Beach is open to the public. On the right side you can see amazing corals (quite colorful) and it is even better on the far left side (where part of Constance Epehlia Resort is located). Highly recommend snorkeling there! You can also start several excursions there, as a lot of them are starting there :)

You can find the most amazing sunset here. It is a quite touristy looong beach, which is beautiful and amazing to swim and snorkel. On Wednesdays there is a local market, it definitely is a must see !!!

Sehenswürdigkeiten

On a not so hot day, we highly recommend visiting the smallest capital in the world. Especially take a walk around Selwyn Clarke Market, where you will find everything you could wish for (food, fruits, fresh fish and souvenirs). There is also a beautiful Botanical Garden.

Breathtaking view over Mahé and Eden Island. Sans Souci Road is also one of the most spectacular roads through the jungle (steep!)! Amazing views and to recommend on a sunny day (otherwise you can‘t enjoy the views)

If you don‘t visit Praslin during your stay on the Seychelles we highly! recommend to book an excursion (e.g. with the catamaran) to two of the most amazing beaches in the whole world. Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio. Also nearby Island Curieuse Island would be a must see with its huge population of tortoise. St. Pierre (a small island near Curieuse) offers one of the best snorkeling in Seychelles. And then there‘s Cousin Island and Aride Island which are breathtaking and very special bird breeding islands. A one in a lifetime experience for sure. We recommend to stay there at least 3 nights.

If you don‘t visit La Digue during your stay on the Seychelles, definitely worth a visit for an excursion per catamaran or to come back to! Beautiful Island without cars and breathtaking beaches (especially Anse Source D‘Argent, Grande Anse, Petite Anse, Anse Coco and Anse Sévere). You can do wonderful snorkeling trips to Coco Island (Amazing!) and Sister Island (breathtaking beach) from there. We recommend to stay there at least 4 nights.
