The Whitewater Brewery is located 15 minutes south of Sunkissed Healing Co. on the Ottawa River known for it’s whitewater rapids. It’s home to some great locally brewed beer and locally sourced meals!. Reservations are highly recommended as this local spots fills up quickly! Open seasonally from approx May to October. Highly recommend their delish pizza's, nachos with a sample of their seasonal beers.

They support local communities by sourcing all their food locally. Highly recommend getting an order (or two)of fish tacos paired wth a cold pint Farmer’s Daughter.

The Beachburg Deli & Bakery and Milano's features everything from Pizza, Subs, Wings, Lottery, Groceries, Confectionary, Deli Bakery and so much more is available. It’s located in the quaint little town of Beachburg, where there are also some fun storefronts to explore and about 15 minutes from Sunkissed Healing Co. Highly recommend the Milano's Special pizza and scoop of ice cream in the summer!

Kenny’s Store is a FULL service local favourite, offering everything you need and just a 10 minute drive from Sunkissed Healing Co. in the town of Westmeath. They are a licensed LCBO where they sell beer, spirits, and wine.. along with groceries, gasoline, propane, coffee, fireworks and let’s not forget to mention their mouthwatering penny candy paper bags full of delicious goodies that will make your mouth water. You definitely feel like you’ve arrived back in the 1950’s where customer service is their top priority. Please tell them Tasha and Shane sent you!

Esprit is about 1 hour by car from Sunkissed Healing Co or you can arrange a 10 minute boat ride to drop you in the morning with your hosts ($$$). Please tell them Tasha and Shane sent you and we ABSOLUTELY recommended their famous wood oven pizza - absolutely delish!

Logo’s Land is a family-friendly spot offering a variety of activities surrounding Astrolabe Lake. It’s about a 30 minute drive from Sunkissed Healing Co in the town of Cobden. The lake is spring fed, clean and free of motor boats.
Summer activities include zip lines, a waterpark, par 71 golf course and hiking trails. The waterpark features 5 giant water slides, a splash pad, large water trampolines, paddle-boats, and mini-golf. The waterpark is open mid-June to Labour Day.

Get to know the area that you are visiting, but visiting Ross Museum. It’s about a 20 minute drive from Sunkissed Healing Co. There is a beautiful community garden where you can spend some quiet time or have a family picnic over-looking the stream. The Ross House is a fully restored pioneer log home depicting life in the mid-to-late 1800's
