We have regularly used these places for about 5 years - there are others in the neighbourhood but these are our first choice.
Straight across from our driveway is Puhinui Superette - cheap milk, a great range of groceries and very tempting ice cream dessert options are found here.

Grayson Ave is full of industrial businesses and tucked in amongst it is a Turkish grocery store I go to for my fig fix but it has lots of other mediterranean food too.

Places of beauty you can bike to (Puhinui Reserve) or drive to (Auckland Botanic gardens and Maretai beach)
We love to jump on the cycle path that starts just outside our home and bike out to this reserve which is a sheep and beef farm. We can bike around the farm.
Alternatively we drive out there and walk or picnic there

This my supermarket - I like to park in the underground carpark in case it rains. Their range of goods suits me. It is surrounded by other shops in a small mall which is handy too.

Cycling is great exercise but you need to feel safe and by following this cycleway just outside our fence on Cambridge Tce you can-marked by green paint it leads you on a mix of shared footpath and special cycle lanes on the road all the way to the Airport.

Neighbourhoods
PLANE SPOTTING CARPARKS. A pair of official viewing areas are available with parking on either side of Puhinui Road after the end of the main runway. The two areas are at different levels due to the land profile.There are some benches available but most people simply sit in their cars to watch.
