Enjoy the local neighborhood at Kakaako. Salt is the shopping center where you can shop, eat at local restaurants, breweries, and sightsee. This local neighborhood has an industrious feel. In the area there are tons of local art Murals painted on the buildings around the neighborhood. Have a blast, rent a scooter/moped and explore to find the paintings. Or get some sunshine and walk the neighborhood.

Ko Olina is a resort of 4 + calming lagoons. They stretch about a 3 mile radius. This resort has several upscale hotels that feature lovely restaurants and golf. Monkey pod, Mina’s fish house and Longhi are our favorites. The beaches have showers and bathrooms to change. If you walk past the four seasons hotel you’ll come across sacred Beach (sights and photos not safe for swim), then secret beach( great for snorkeling we spot turtles here) and Paradise Cove Beach. We’ve seen monk seals on more than one occasion. Make a day of it if you want to venture to west Oahu.

The kid section has several slides, a wet splash Station, jungle Gym, and shallow water for infants. You can pack coolers for lunch and snacks and go to the car for lunch. No outside food allowed. However they have several food items for purchase. They also feature a bar for adults with piña colada‘s/ Daiquiri drinks and other options. Make it a day!
