My Favorite Places to eat
This is one of the best restaurants on Maui for fresh caught seafood with a beautiful beach front view! It is less than a 1 minute walk through the quiet Ku'au neighborhood from the condo. They book months in advance, so make your reservation as soon as possible. if you can't secure a reservation, call or stop by once on island to see if there are cancellations or immediate open seating available.

This is a short walk west from the condo or a very quick drive around the bend on Hana Hwy. It has some great freshly prepared foods for breakfast and lunch and grocery items if in need of something close by. They usually have vegetarian options in their deli as well, which are really tasty. I had their warm curry chickpea sandwich recently and it was delicious! The grocery items can be priced higher than the larger grocery stores on island but you are paying for the convenience, as it’s right around the corner from the condo.

701 Hana HwyThis is a short walk west from the condo or a very quick drive around the bend on Hana Hwy. It has some great freshly prepared foods for breakfast and lunch and grocery items if in need of something close by. They usually have vegetarian options in their deli as well, which are really tasty. I had their warm curry chickpea sandwich recently and it was delicious! Rock climbing, giant trampoline and bumper boats. My kids love this place! It is right by the Aquarium and for an hour or two it is a fun excursion for the younger kids or for mini golf lovers.

This is a great option for a rainy day! My kids go several times a month. They have glow night which is super fun for kids and parents! If you have older kids you can drop them off to jump and play dodge ball for a couple of hours to get their energy out and have some time to yourself. It can be a bit on the pricey side if you have multiple kids or adults jumping but they have certain days and times where they have discounts. Check out their website or call.

I did this tour with my 6 year old recently and we both learned a lot and had a blast. It was a unique experience and it’s always nice to support local businesses, especially when they are helping such an important cause! We all need bees to pollinate and it helped my Son , who was as accidentally stung recently, to appreciate all that bees do for us and how we can help them. Bees are our friends! The drive and view once at the sanctuary are worth the trip, even if you don’t take a tour.

It was a unique experience and it’s always nice to support local businesses, especially when they are helping such an important cause! We all need bees to pollinate and it helped my Son , who was as accidentally stung recently, to appreciate all that bees do for us and how we can help them. Bees are our friends! The drive and view once at the sanctuary are worth the trip, even if you don’t take a tour.
Sightseeing
If you are heading to the West side then stop at Maalaea Harbor and visit this amazing and interactive aquarium. There are restaurants nearby and it's a great area for humpback whale watching (November-May). There are boat tours for various activities in this area which I also highly recommend.

192 Maalaea RdIf you are heading to the West side then stop at Maalaea Harbor and visit this amazing and interactive aquarium. There are restaurants nearby and it's a great area for humpback whale watching (November-May). There are boat tours for various activities in this area which I also highly recommend.

Just a minutes walk from the condo, this is a great beach to relax, swim and watch sea turtles. The beach is protected by a reef, so the water is calm and and mostly shallow which is great for younger kids! Lots of rocks to climb on to explore and get awesome views. During high tide there are pools to wade along the East side of the beach. It is notoriously hard to find beach parking, as most of the lot is for the restaurant. Being able to walk down a private walkway to this beach is a huge plus!

There are some really cool historical areas and gardens to learn about while enjoying the scenery as well. They are easily accessible and fun to just stroll around and relax. There are picnic tables to stop and have a bite to eat as well.
If possible, visit during the week days. This a popular place for locals on the weekends and it tends to get more crowded and lively with private family parties etc.
