Take a drive up to Timberline lodge at Mt Hood. About 50 miles each way. Iconic beautiful lodge with scenic views. Hiking trails around the lodge. Skiing year round, training spot for the US ski team. The little town of Govt camp located just west of the access road to Timberline is a cute little town to check out. Mt Hood Brewing in town has outdoor seating, great spot!

Husum waterfall located about 7 miles north. A small waterfall you can view from above on the bridge. Really fun to watch kayaks and rafts go over the falls. If you are feeling very brave you can book a rafting trip with Wet planet rafting

Very interesting museum located 40 miles east on Hwy 14. The historic, three-story Beaux Arts mansion was originally intended as a residence for museum founder Sam Hill. It was designed in 1914.
