The drive to and around Lake Lure is a gorgeous winding journey along a mountain river. Many food options and craft shops around. You can rent a motorcycle for a day at the Chimney Rock Harley Davidson, or hop into a kayak at the Lake Lure Adventure Company

Tryon equestrian hosts many exciting competitions, as well as some non-equestrian events. Even when no events are scheduled, it is a great place to check out for their restaurants and art boutiques. It is an easy 9.5 mile drive from our farm.
