Essaouira’s medina is smaller and easy to navigate. You may find some real bargains in the medina. There is no real need to haggle to the last dirham, instead be willing to pay a fair price. Often items are well made by local artisans and often these family businesses have been there for generations!

For views from the tower across the town, consider visiting the Scala du Port. There is a small entry fee but it’s a fantastic way to see the city.

Highly recommended is the Azur art and spa with a lovely rooftop to relax on after your hammam experience.
You can also request a mixed hammam steam room with your partner. I suggested booking in advance.

Reasonably priced and offering delicious modern Moroccan dishes, but in the old Moroccan way, they do not serve alcohol!
