Although it’s only open in summer, Roof East is a great little rooftop bar with cinema, food, and many games and events such as mini golf, baseball etc. It sits on top of the Stratford Center and has a great view over Stratford. To get there, take the lift from inside the Stratford Center (opposite the sainsburys) all the way to the top floor.

Sightseeing
Whilst this is mostly a tip for spring and summer, we feel that the ornamental gardens at West Ham Park are really underrated. Especially if you want a romantic place to walk, fancy a picnic or need to get the kids out of the house.

The olympic park is well worth visiting, and you can go on the ArcelorMittal Orbit Slide (bonus point if you can actually pronounce it).
