This park is one of the best gems in Seattle and is only a 10 min. drive from my house. It's has huge acreage, make a hike there feel like you've really gotten away from the city. There is a picturesque lighthouse you can hike to and have a little picnic on the beach or just beach walk.

The views are amazing, it's almost never crowded and it's a true locals destination. You can even take a picnic and firewood and have a little bonfire evening.
I love this park because it's fun to check out all the outdoor art but it's also incredible for views, photo taking, a nice long walk, peace and quiet, dipping your toes in the water at their beach and the best place for kids to let off steam.
