Adjacent to the eastern Wall of the Old Town along the river there is a recreation area where people go to relax. In the summertime there is a Biergarten and some activities that may attract, but many people go there just to sit on the lawn and chat, and maybe have eat something that they brought with them.

One of the few streets in the Old Town where the majority of the houses were not destroyed during the allied bomb raid on New Years day in 1945. Today admired for its scenic view, although before the destruction hardly worth mentioning, since this was not an area where the rich merchant houses stood, but originally an area in which leather was prepared and fabricated due to the near location to the river.
This gives a hint on what art and cultural treasures that were destroyed in the city during the war.

Very suitable for a over day visit from Nürnberg by train, since the Train Station is just outside the Old Town.

If you like genuine Thai food, you will find most Thai restaurants in Germany overrated in terms of food (if not price). In Nürnberg, this is one of the few which is not.
The locality itself is terrible, adding a frying scent in your clothes, but the food is as good and genuine Thai as it should be. Therefore always crowdy.
Only a few seats available outside.
I always use it for take out.
