if you don't have a car then jump on the bus from new south head road (just opposite the end of glenmore road), straight to nielsen - beautiful parks and harbour walks abound, but if you just want the beach then we understand! Milk beach is a hidden gem short stroll away.
Stay on the bus to watsons bay and do dinner at the hotel with the sunset views to the harbour bridge.. not bad..
