C-Bali

This nature reserve is everything one could want for a day spent hiking, enjoying a picnic or bird watching. Different trails are offered to suit everyone, each trail boasting different fauna, flora, gorgeous views and many specials of wildlife.
My favorite hidden gem is the waterfall, a gem hidden by nature, perfect for swimming or a romantic picnic.
Wear comfortable shoes and plan a day around it to make sure you have enough time to appreciate everything on offer.

Umtamvuna Nature Reserve
This nature reserve is everything one could want for a day spent hiking, enjoying a picnic or bird watching. Different trails are offered to suit everyone, each trail boasting different fauna, flora, gorgeous views and many specials of wildlife.
My favorite hidden gem is the waterfall, a gem hidden by nature, perfect for swimming or a romantic picnic.

Oribi Gorge has it all and although a bit of a drive, about 1hour, from Port Edward, it is a perfect outing destination.

Oribi Gorge has it all and although a bit of a drive, about 1hour, from Port Edward, it is a perfect outing destination.
Hiking trails, bird watching, picnics, zip lining, rope swing, game drives, fishing, horse rides, Lake Eland's restaurant and more await.
This is a must try for naturists, thrill seekers and adventurists!

Overlook the gorge, see from KZN to the Eastern Cape and enjoy unbelievable views form their iconic viewing deck. Their restaurant has recently been revamped and offers divine meals and coffee, perfect for a light meal or refresh after a stroll around.

Overlook the gorge, see from KZN to the Eastern Cape and enjoy unbelievable views form their iconic viewing deck. Their restaurant has recently been revamped and offers divine meals and coffee, perfect for a light meal or refresh after a stroll around.

The Red Desert is a brilliant sight-seeing area and guided walks are on offer for guests. Experience not only a true piece of Africa's history, but the smallest desert in the world!
It is a real contrast to the area's lush surroundings and is about 200m in width, almost surreal. This spot is surrounded by many stories and tales, which you can ask the guide about for some fact or fiction fun.
Beautiful views can be seen from here and will be sure to make for gorgeous photos with the red sand contrasting beautifully with the blue sky and green surroundings.
