Nice small restaurant with delicious typical portuguese "petiscos" (portuguese name for tapas)! You can just ask for a couple of the petiscos to share, or chose one of the main courses. The food is delicious and is right in the bars area, so you are conveniently close to go out afterwards! Better to book beforehand (222081797)

The famous ice cream shop, Santini, founded in Lisbon in 1949 by the Italian Attilio Santini, has recently opened for the first time in Porto, in a large, bright space located in the downtown city centre. This is great news providing an opportunity to try their delicious, freshly made ice creams. Among the traditional, unique flavours of Santini ice cream, you can now try their latest flavour dedicated to Porto, incorporating Port wine, nuts and figs. Their macarrinis (macaroons with ice cream), bonbons and gin and tonic ice cream (available at weekends), are also well worth trying.

Square in the Porto centre - City hall. The imposing architecture and its central character turn this Avenue into the city's "living room". It becomes a location of excellence where the people of Porto gather to celebrate special times. There are granite buildings, many of which are crowned with skylights, domes and pinnacles.
