Founded in 1886, the Royal British Columbia Museum consists of The Province of British Columbia's natural and human history museum as well as the British Columbia Provincial Archives. The museum is located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The "Royal" title was approved by Queen Elizabeth II and bestowed by HRH Prince Philip in 1987, to coincide with a Royal tour of that year. The museum merged with the British Columbia Provincial Archives in 2003.

Great bar with a very fresh garden close to the Point Ellice Bridge disaster. With its wonderful burgers Moon Under Water Pub & Brewery is definitely a place worth considering. Very good staff and lively atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

Canoe Brewpub is a great restaurant in Victoria, mentioned often for its perfect steaks, excellent fish and chips and perfect meals. Located close to the Johnson Street Bridge. Good beer and good service. An outdoor seating area. Reasonable prices and a beautiful setting.

It's just across the street and has pub fare and craft beer brewed by the hotel. It's one of the first craft breweries and has been brewing beer since the 90's. There is also a liquor store with reasonably priced beer, wine's, and spirits there.

The Solaris, Unicorn, and Amnesiac were my favourites, and overall, Phillips does a nice job producing brews across the range that stand on their own.
BREWERY: Be prepared with a cash donation. You can't buy pints, flights, or samples, but you can ask for "free" samples and stuff some moolah into their donations box. If you stuff nicely, they'll fill you up a flight

If you need anything from cooking supplies to sleeping bags, Capital Iron has you covered. It's a Victoria staple and worth a visit even if you are not in need of anything in particular.
