It has fabulous coffee and cake, but even more importantly, it's a great atmosphere. From the outside, it doesn't look like much - but step inside - you won't regret it. Definitely the best place in the area.

Delicious Japanese food at an unbeatable price, though I think the ramen is not their best dish. We get karage chicken, pork gyoza, edamame, two bowls of rice, and two cans of capsis - a filling hearty meal for two for under $35. It's popular and frequently busy, so if you want quiet, it pays to go early (ie before 6:30pm).

This is a restaurant incubator, a place where, each night, around six aspiring restaurateurs operate pop-ups to test their concept. Which restaurateurs are there varies from night to night, so there's always something new and different to try. Preview what's on the night that you want to go by googling Wandering Cooks. The restaurants share indoor and outdoor dining space. The indoor space is kind of 'industrial chic' - being in an old warehouse - and the outdoor space is surrounded by greenery and string lights. Both very atmospheric!

In summer, you can even catch free movies while lying on the beach drinking a beer. This is a must-see, year-round, even if it's too cold to swim in it, have a walk around and marvel at how pretty it is.

It's artificially landscaped, but it's immaculately kept, and it's lovely. From densely planted rainforest sections, to open grass, to the lagoon, to the kitchen garden, there are a variety of sections and it's a pleasure to spend an hour or two walking along the river and enjoying the gardens. There are also a variety of entertainment, dining, and shopping options in the area.
