In the 1940s, Printer's Alley became Nashville's first nightclub district. Once the site of the seedy, quasi-legal (or illegal) side of city life, it's now a pretty harmless tourist destination, but it's still worth a visit. Live music and karaoke abound.

Printers AlleyIn the 1940s, Printer's Alley became Nashville's first nightclub district. Once the site of the seedy, quasi-legal (or illegal) side of city life, it's now a pretty harmless tourist destination, but it's still worth a visit. Live music and karaoke abound.
Printer's Alley got its name because at the beginning of the 1900s it was the home of two large newspapers and numerous print shops and publishers in Nashville's large publishing industry. Distance from our house: 2.6 miles.
