Its tax free here - but be aware of the limits as you have to go through a checkpoint upon leaving. Dont forget your passport if visiting - if you do, you wont be left in.
An idea when visiting here is to park on the Spanish side and walk over the border. Traffic can be crazy here - lots of long lines.
