Will find it outside, away from Central station and closer to the river. Each night from 5pm till 10pm. If you are a foodie - its a must!

Kaņepes Culture Centre is not just a café or a club. The atmosphere there is alternative, various exhibitions, experimental art and culture events are often held there. But the undeniably artistic atmosphere and public of the café invite to bohemian entertainment. Kaņepes Culture Centre has its own yard gathering creative people on summer nights to enjoy the evening in a free atmosphere.
The building that houses Kaņepes Culture Centre is over 100 years old. Baltic German and Russian aristocrats used to organise social events there, it was a bohemian place at the time of free Latvian state, later it was occupied by students of the Art Academy. For some period the building was derelict, but Kaņepes Culture Centre is now restoring it.

Bar XIII is not just about fancy drinks, it is a fine place to dine, with talented master chef Reinis Strazdins in the kitchen. Bar XIII is Strazdins new domain, having spent 10 years in Riga's best restaurant - "Vincents".
Interior design concept for Bar XIII hails from London with its "metropolitan" feel and elements of 1960s Berlin, and the "Rīdzene" Hotel bar of the late 1980s with its stylishly kitschy copper/amber-tone light fixtures. A special attraction at Bar XIII is the Cigar room. Also, the bartenders offer masterclasses in old-fashioned and original cocktail-making for small groups.
By the way, Bar XIII was named the best bar in Riga at the 2015 "Platinum Platter Awards".
