Lots of travellers miss Centennial Park but check out how the locals use their fabulous green spot. Picnics, running, cycling (you can hire), bbq and often events. Great spot to run and walk

This is where I go to swim. In the Middle of the Eastern Suburbs Coastal Walk it is a small bay that is safe to swim - not rough, and great amenities. No sharks here but there is great snorkelling!

This is the most glamorous beach in Australia - mega trendy surf dudes and glamatans. We recommend you perhaps go there but beware of very dangerous seas and currents. View it on the Coastal Walk

A great Neighbourhood area. Try Bat Country (great Bar), El Bulli for Tapas and any of the Thai Restaurants here seem to do a good meal. There's a wonderful retro movie theatre too that has cheap nights out. p
